I HAVE THE SOLUTION!

Go to Control Panel/System and Security/Action Center

There is a title: "Review recent messages and resolve problems"

Under that I had three warnings. Than I turned everything on.

After that I was able to install .net 3.5 without the 0x800f0922 error code.

Use the

Control Panel | Programs and Features | Turn Windows features on or off.

solution.

I hope it works for everyone with this.

I had the same issue but updating the Group Policy Setting under administrative tab helped...

Refer to Method 2: Configure the Group Policy setting in .. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2734782/

Hope someone can save some time..

As I told you in a reply to yet another post of yours in yet another thread...

These are Consumer-specific forums. You will find appropriate support for Win8 Enterprise (Evaluation Edition or otherwise) in the Win8 IT Pro forums => http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/w8itpro

If Win8 were properly installed, all you'd need to do is (a) connect the computer to the internet and then (b) enable (turn on) .NET Framework 3.5 per the following illustration (screenshot) from a Windows 8 computer:

I've tried all angles, 4.5 disabled etc. I've tried everything anybody has ever suggested and a few things I thought of, including what you are suggesting. .NET 4.5 switches on and off ok, but not 3.5. I have got around my current problem merely by finding a good video editor that does not use the framework. If I wanted to do anything more technical I'd be stuffed. .NET 3.5 used to work on this pc when I had XP installed.
