Can't install a language pack

Hello,

When i install a language pack, after the download and at the end of the installation progress bar, it says:

The following updates were not installed:

French Language Pack - Windows 8 for x64-based Systems - (KB2607607) [fr-FR_LP]

And there is no information about the error(s).

What can i do ? Is there somewhere i could see a detailed log with possibly more information about errors that occured ?

    Hallo all! I have the exactly same problem with Italian language pack! I have try some troubleshoting task but no way!

    All this issue fail to resolve the problem, and if the only problem is to refresh or re-install the PC... Microsoft can close this forum and support... ;-O

    Then please Microsoft support give soon one solution for this problems...

    I tried formatting the hard drive and re-installing the software several times. However I could not fix the bug.

    So I asked a friend of mine to borrow a dvd with the language I wanted. Then I used my serial and solved the problem.

    I'm having the same problem. I can't download the English language pack. It's p,.ssing me off, big time.

    Here is the deal.

    If a package, for any reason, is downloaded corrupted, as soon as the instalation fails, ALL files installed should be deleted from the system. This also should happen when the user deletes a language that the instalation failed or uninstalling one.

    Right now, this doesn't happen.

    So, when trying to download and install it again, the installation is seeing the previous corrupted file and not replacing it, so it makes impossible to install that given package.

    Now MS, get your stuff together and do it right,

    Same problem here!

    I just wasted 2 days trying to install the English language pack -.-

    I tried to install Russian LP, and it worked fine -.-

    The problem appeared after I refreshed my system. Before I had installed English language pack... I think it's the one of Windows updates which cause the problem.
