Can't install a language pack

Hello,

When i install a language pack, after the download and at the end of the installation progress bar, it says:

The following updates were not installed:

French Language Pack - Windows 8 for x64-based Systems - (KB2607607) [fr-FR_LP]

And there is no information about the error(s).

What can i do ? Is there somewhere i could see a detailed log with possibly more information about errors that occured ?

    The ideea is to rename Windows Update in registry, stop Windows Update service, try download, and rename it back, start the Windows Update service.

    Hi,

    If anybody still keeps struggling with the installation here's the thing.

    First method (not tested but should work):  --->METHOD WITH LANGUAGE PACK

    1. Download the language pack.
    2. Put the install exe. directly to the folder where you have office.
    3. Try to install it.

    Congrats if it will work!

    Second method (works - tested): ----> METHOD WITH SYSTEM LANGUAGE

    1. Change the language of your system to language that you want to have in Office.
    2. Download the office install.exe directly to the folder where you have Office installed.
    3. Turn the instalator and crash it (only way to crash it is to shut it down with Task Manager).
    4. Turn  the Office on (whatever it is can be Word). And close it.
    5. Turn the instalator on again (it will check for errors and change language to the system language).

    Cannot install through Settings  because the bugware does not give the option, and cannot install through Control Panel because the bugware cannot see that I am connected and cannot download the pack. And of course there are no manual installs for download. I do not mind doing things manually because it takes much less time and nerves than fighting the bugware ''auto updates'' but the packs I have seen cannot be installed manually. You people got an angry customer that may soon become a very angry ex customer.

    Windows 10 is a bugware. If I did that kind of ""work" for my company i would be fired. Maybe you have too many customers and want to lose some?
