Can't install a language pack

Hello,

When i install a language pack, after the download and at the end of the installation progress bar, it says:

The following updates were not installed:

French Language Pack - Windows 8 for x64-based Systems - (KB2607607) [fr-FR_LP]

And there is no information about the error(s).

What can i do ? Is there somewhere i could see a detailed log with possibly more information about errors that occured ?

    Try delete all files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

    Interesting. I'm having problems with the French language pack which is now in a funny half installed state; shows up but doesn't work correctly and I can't remove it. I too have Japanese and English (Australia) packs installed, in addition to English (US).

    I have the same problem too.  The irony is, I clone all computers from the same source and only some computers are having this problem while the rest work fine with no glitches. Err, I am frustrated that there is no solution for this problem.

    With me either! I expect Microsoft NOW to send us a fix, that will NOT cause me to spend half a day to reinstall all my Programs ( I will NOT call them Apps, before i ron my desktop with a OS that shows me a bitten fruit in the Start screen) I am so disapointed from Windows 8 especially and  the Microsoft staff in general !!!
