How do I keep Windows 8 from logging me out all the time?

Has windows troubleshooter ever REALLY fixed a problem?  It NEVER has for me - i ran this jut for fun (since my win 8 logs me out randomly) -- it recommend i switch to a power saver mode so it can enter sleep mode and save me power - yea thanks, how does this solve this problem?

Lol, I'm so sorry davemanvell. It seems like nobody really understands the problem. Almost nobody as I'm having the same problem .... Let me rephrase your question in hope that there is somebody out there who can explain how to change the privacy/account settings concerning this topic as there is nothing wrong with the computer or such.

So here is my attempt:

In Vista and Windows 7 you had the option to turn off the feature (require password when computer restarts or switching users). Where is that feature located in Windows 8 ?

After awhile Windows 8 keeps logging me out. then I have to click then re-enter my password every time.

How can I disable this?

I only have one user account and will not have any others.

I am having the same problem .it is very irritating. if i go to get coffee or even to restroom, i come back and it is  back to start screen.
