How do I keep Windows 8 from logging me out all the time?

This whole thread is pretty illustrative of how disfunctional this "Microsoft Answers" site has become.

The wrong assumption by the thread's design that each problem has one solution that applies to multiple versions of the same software.

The standard "try this thing you already said you tried or see this troubleshooter" answers.

The endlessly repetitive same answers by those who carelessly skip the reading whole thread.

It's quite simple, I guess...

you can try these basics..

Right click the desktop->Personalize->Screen Saver->In screen saver dialogue box click on Power settings-> Well, you may find more than one options there. In my case I have two.

Dell

Power Saver

Now click on the "Change Plan Settings" of the which is selected or in use.

Now set these now set all the drop down option to "Never".

Save the Changes and close.

Go to screen saver and click on change power settings, then click on the left hand side change when computer sleeps and change the put computer to sleep settings.
