After awhile Windows 8 keeps logging me out. then I have to click then re-enter my password every time.
How can I disable this?
I only have one user account and will not have any others.

What do you mean exactly by "reset security policies"?
Hi :)
I don't know if it still a problem for some people out there - but after reading the entire post, I guess it is. This worked for me.
If you try Control panels-->user accounts-->choose account-->Press: "Make changes to my account in PC settings".
This sends you to a Windows 8 PC setting menu for "Your account". Like this:
Here I pressed "change" next to the text "Any user has a password doesn't need to enter it when waking this PC".

...
Just another reason to hate windows 8 I guess. It's the epic failure of Microsoft's entire history, hands down.
...
That is very subjective point of view. It is definitely not "epic failure". It made me come back to Windows from Mac OSX, and even with its all pros and cons, Windows 8 is the best OS Microsoft ever came up with. They finally got rid of incredibly kitchy and totally non-useful Aeor feature that was only clogging our OS and making it super slow and non-responsive. Vista was the biggest failure, not Windows 8.
Look on the bright side of things and try to be positive, not negative... even when you experience problems like this. If we all give up, it's not going to look good.
And remember, there is no bullet proof OS out there. Mac OSX has its problems, I'm testing Linux Mint and Ubuntu, they have a fair share of problems too.
Work on trying to find solution to your problems and try to stop being negative.
We shouldn't have to "reset cookies" and "have no screen saver" just so we can use our websites like we could 8 weeks ago. This is ridiculous.
MICROSOFT FAILED BY EPIC PROPORTIONS with Windows 8. It's worse than Windows Millennium and VISTA was, combined. I hope Microsoft I.T actually reads these comments and makes an appropriate update to put it back to how it was 3 months ago. At least then I could stay logged in to my websites and just hate other parts of Windows 8.
