After awhile Windows 8 keeps logging me out. then I have to click then re-enter my password every time.
How can I disable this?
I only have one user account and will not have any others.

WORKS, THANKS
Simply go to your Screen Saver settings and uncheck: "On Resume, Display Logon Screen" Worked for me.
That worked for me, but I had to enable the screen saver first. I set it for 500 minutes. BTW on my Surface 2 the options are different for "pc settings - accounts - sign in options - password policy" then on my laptop. On my laptop I don't have a drop down for password policy. Both are Win 8.1. The surface is 8.1 rt of course. Although my laptop is up to date, who knows what patches are applied on different machines.

Yeah, I don't think it will ever be fully allowed to not have to enter a password. I can't follow your path, Mick, but it doesn't matter anyway. I noticed between Windows 8 and 8.1, the checkbox about needing a password or not has been removed from "netplwiz"
By process of elimination, I believe the ability to not need to enter a password every 10 minutes depends on whether you have an Exchange email account on your system or not. I have three different email accounts on my system, but for some reason, even though I am okay with not needing a password, the Exchange account requires my system to log out every 10 minutes.
