How can I disable this?

I only have one user account and will not have any others.

Had the same problem.

Solution: Control Panel/User Accounts/Reset security policies.

We shouldn't have to "reset cookies" and "have no screen saver" just so we can use our websites like we could 8 weeks ago.  This is ridiculous.

MICROSOFT FAILED BY EPIC PROPORTIONS with Windows 8. It's worse than Windows Millennium and VISTA was, combined. I hope Microsoft I.T actually reads these comments and makes an appropriate update to put it back to how it was 3 months ago. At least then I could stay logged in to my websites and just hate other parts of Windows 8.

I too have been experiencing this problem for about 6 weeks now.

I constantly have to sign in again to facebook, outlook and sometimes yahoo messenger.

Just another reason to hate windows 8 I guess.  It's the epic failure of Microsoft's entire history, hands down.

I had a hard time just submitting this friggin comment, had to sign in to my windows live account three times.

    :-(
