WI-FI connection repeatedly goes"Limited" on Windows 8 Tablet

I bought  an Acer Iconia W700 and upon using Wi-Fi i noticed that my connection kept getting interrupted. It says i have  "Limited" connectivity. I thought it was a temporary server or router problem,  but upon further observation ( with my Ipad on the same network) i found out it was only the Iconia who is exhibiting the problem. I complained and had the unit replaced after a day but sadly, the new replacement is having the same problem.

    I have the thomson tg789vn and was shure it caused the problems so had my isp bridge it and plug in my dlink dir-635, it's better but not good.. infact it's even disconneting while downloading the new wifi drivers tp try if it fixes it -.-

    If anyone finds a fix for this (or acer sorts it out....) I would be very happy :)

    it looks like we are not the only one having wifi problems. people with

    lenovo yoga 13 also have the same wifi issue.

    Yes, Surface RT has the same issue and I've read about it.

    Since my Windows 8 desktop is working fine, the problem is more likely to be with Windows 8 on battery operated devices. So, in this case, Acer can't help us, I suppose.

    had a fewling it was w8 causing it as all w7 and android devices I have are working perfectly on the same network. Updated the wifidrivers now and started a 1.5gb download @ slow speed, plugged it in and set to high performance to see if it will crash again (no doubt it will, but will see..)

    as this seem to be a common problem hopefully microsoft/acer/atheros update what ever needs updating and have it sorted. 2012 and you can't do something as basic as stay connected to internet on a brand new machine..

    hope ms can solve this problem as soon as possible,but really ,after updated the new driver this issue happens less often than before, but still bothers me when i watch a video or download something, thats luck stuff- -

    Updating driver did nothing for me, even feels like it got worse lately :/

    This really need to be top of the prioritylist, that you can't even surf the web on a brand new computer is not acceptable :/

    Does anyone know if theres some official place we can forward this or are these forum the best?
