WI-FI connection repeatedly goes"Limited" on Windows 8 Tablet

I bought  an Acer Iconia W700 and upon using Wi-Fi i noticed that my connection kept getting interrupted. It says i have  "Limited" connectivity. I thought it was a temporary server or router problem,  but upon further observation ( with my Ipad on the same network) i found out it was only the Iconia who is exhibiting the problem. I complained and had the unit replaced after a day but sadly, the new replacement is having the same problem.

    it looks like we are not the only one having wifi problems. people with

    lenovo yoga 13 also have the same wifi issue.

    looking forward to your response from acer:)i called them today they just advised me to try this new driver..

    Yesterday, I called Acer and do you know what they replied..!!! 

    The CSO said I was the first having this problem and no one ever reported such issue yet.

    Ha ha ha. I really wanted to show them this forum topic.

    She also asked me the same thing, update driver, reset default settings etc.

    If it's still not working, then, they said come down to service center.

    I think, I will go to the service center this weekends.

    "Winsock entries tells Windows 7 how to access your network services. Additionally, your TCP/IP protocol can be corrupted. The TCP/IP protocol is a stack of 4 layers that includes several transport layers, but when this stack is corrupt you will constantly have connectivity issues.

    Type or copy each command one at a time into an elevated command prompt then hit "enter" after each one, then reboot your machine.

    netsh winsock reset catalog (reset winsock entries)

    netsh int ip reset reset.log hit (reset TCP/IP stack)

    If it's something on the wireless side then you should install Xirrus wifi inspector. A screen shot of this will show me the wireless landscape your area and adjustments can be made from there.

    Also try to disable any antivirus software  running (completely uninstall if free) and re install  drivers and/or 

    update router firmware if any.

    hi!

    i also have the same connection problem with my acer iconia w700. my router is a thomson tg784 and has a 802.11b/g connection

    i have updated the antheros software to acer new version but the tablet still has the limited connection problem when i'm 5metters away from my router...

    no one seems to fix this conection issue so most likely i will return the tablet
