Extend my C drive space in Windows 8

Hey guys, I have install Windows 8 Home, I want to extend my C drive space, but the system won't let me. I've try AOMEI to extend it , AOMEI crashed my system in Pre-OS mode. I got it fix eventually. But I really really want to extend my C drive and I don't want to reinstall the system, can anyone help me please?

    I can not extend my drive C (windowns 10,Boot, system) although i have 185 GB unllocated

    I suggest you think a bit harder next time you install your operating system. You cannot move the c drive without a complet OS reinstall.

    What do you suggest if there is no space to the right of the C drive, only to the left?

    I don't think you can fix your problem with the facilities available in windows.  You need a Partition Manager Tool.  The only one I have used in the past is Acronis, but there are many available including EaseUS, Magic, and GParted.

    You need one of these tools to move your C: Partition onto your second hard disc.  You then would need to go into your computer's BIOS (often by pressing DEL during boot) and modify the boot sequence to ensure your second hard drive is one of those enabled to boot the machine from.

    You could then create another partition for storage in your first disc drive - probably an E: partition, but any drive letter from E-Z would be available.

    Dear Sanwin2, 

    Thank you so much for your reply that makes sense to me. However, I'm not sure how to do this. Is there a link or little directions that you can refer me to so I can follow the steps on how to 1) Move C onto the other Drive 2) Alter the boot Drive in my BIOS ? Apologies but I'm not an expert in this. 

    Also, would I lose any of my data in C: if I do this ? Like, I'm working on a project on Adobe Premiere Pro and it runs from C: And stores it Catches files and all related files on C: too.. so would it be fine ? 

    A response from you would be highly appreciated as I've been stuck for weeks not being able to use my PC on any project. Thanks in advance mate.
