Additional Details

I installed Windows Live Mail on 6 December 2011 and added a Google Mail account to it.  It was working fine until about a week ago when every time I went to check my mail it would give me the following message:

Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks.

1 of 2 tasks have completed successfully

I clicked on the Error tab in that window and there was nothing listed there.  I closed out of the windows and clicked on the button to check my mail again and no error message.  The next time I want to check my mail I get that error message and I close out of that window and check it again and it works with no issue.  It has been like this for about a week and it becoming annoying.

What is the issue and how do I fix it or are Google Mail accounts not compatible with this application.  I used the IMAP settings.

    The only options that are still listed are:

    Which one of those do I click on.

    Also I am not using the web site for email.  I am using the program that came with Windows Live Essentials and I am not using a live.com or hotmail.com with this issue.

    How many times do I have to say this.  I am using the email program that came with Windows Live Essential.  The email account that I am using with that program is NOT a live.com or a hotmail.com account.  Why would I want to select Hotmail from the Drop-down menu.

    Hi SouthernDixieCowgirl,

    What account are you using to sign in to this Solution Center? Please use this account so that you'll be able to see the private data area and so that you can upload the files that we have been requesting.

    For the private data area that we have provided you for the last few days, you can see a button there beside the lock icon wherein you have to click on that button for you to be able to upload a file.

    The email account that is having issues with Windows Live Mail is a GOOGLE account.
