Additional Details

I installed Windows Live Mail on 6 December 2011 and added a Google Mail account to it.  It was working fine until about a week ago when every time I went to check my mail it would give me the following message:

Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks.

1 of 2 tasks have completed successfully

I clicked on the Error tab in that window and there was nothing listed there.  I closed out of the windows and clicked on the button to check my mail again and no error message.  The next time I want to check my mail I get that error message and I close out of that window and check it again and it works with no issue.  It has been like this for about a week and it becoming annoying.

What is the issue and how do I fix it or are Google Mail accounts not compatible with this application.  I used the IMAP settings.

    I went to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie and downloaded the file.  Then I downloaded it and installed it and it asked me to restart the system and I did.  Then I had it installed for about 2 weeks then I went to Ad/Remove Programs in Windows 7 and uninstalled it.  The only message I got when I went back to IE8 was to restart the system for the changes to take effect.  Now the browser is in a crippled state and doesn't open most of the time and when it does open the screen flashes no matter the site I am on and my graphic card driver is current.

    Hi SouthernDixieCowgirl,

    To isolate the cause of the issue, please provide details to the following questions:

    -          How did you upgrade your browser to IE 9? Through the Windows Update or by downloading it on the IE website?

    -          Did you encounter an error message when downgrading from IE 9 to IE 8? If so, please provide the exact error message.

    Internet Explorer is in a coma right now thanks to me upgrading to Internet Explorer 9.  I had no issues with Internet Explorer until I upgraded it to IE9 and not Internet Explorer does not work.  Then I uninstalled IE9 to go back to IE8 and I cannot use that version due to IE9 destroying the browser.

    Have you tried using Internet Explorer to view this site? It sometimes doesn't work well with other browsers. There may also be something in your browser security settings that's preventing you from seeing the private data areas that moderators keep providing for you to upload files in. Perhaps if you reset Internet Explorer to its defaults, you'd have more success.

    How are you currently accessing your mail if you're not using a browser and Windows Live Mail isn't working?

    I don't need to post this in another area since I posted it in the correct area.  I am having an issue with Windows Live Mail and this is the area that you post the issue in so therefore I do not need to post this issue in another area.
