HELP!

I want to report a phonecall/scam I received - this one last night - supposedly from Microsoft.  I want these crooks nailed to the wall.  I can't figure out how to contact a human in the Microsoft empire to give the specifics I gleaned from my caller.  Hopefully, a Microsoft personage will email me back as this is not my 1st scam by phone (my CELL PHONE!) or by EMAIL from India trying to get me to follow her 7 steps to clearing my laptop of a bunch of "vicious viruses".  I got her name, phone number, web address, etc.

Please, Microsoft person, contact me so I can turn  my notes over to you to follow up protecting your name & our safety as best as possible and "contend removed: please don't cures  thank you"

THANK YOU!!

R. A. Malloy

Not if it was with a virtual box.  U can do it with a virtual box and collect their data to report them.

HI, i was called yesterday. I also was so stupid to fall for it. A woman called to say that everytime i turned on the laptop, it was downloading illigal files. files that were criminal and dangerous. So she turned me over to a tech-guy, he askes me to type ASKFORCE then it started to download something and i only had to click ok. Stupid me, i gave them acces. Here on from they took the laptop, showed me what was wrong, why my laptop was doing strange things and was so slow (witch it was for a few days before) Then they proceded with "showing me that they were legit" I had to open my internet banking, witch showed the ballance. They clicked the page away. He told me that they were working with the gouvernment so i would get some money in my account and i needed to pay them with the money i had received from the gouvernment. He also showed me that there were 14 hackers on the laptop, and about 10 more on the bankingpage. About 10 minutes later the banking page was opend again, and it stated that i had received 1000 euro's. and they quickly started to buy i-tunes cards. After a while i got irritated and said NO more. He kept calm, said he would call back tomorow, and i had to go buy more i-tunes cards and only then would he give back my computer, until then i couldn't juse the laptop or internet banking. I said that i didn't trust it anymore, that i would cancel my cards and go to the police. Then he hung up. I quicky called microsoft, and went to the bank (where i found out that they simply transfered money out of 1 account, to the other(but that didn't show on the online banking app at the time)) And later to the police. Ofcourse i can not get any money back, not even from the visa card (yes i was that stupid). Today i called the real microsoft again, they helped me clean my laptop so it is safe to juse again. And i made a few extra calls. I know it is my own stupid mistake, and i know i lost all of our money myself. But i just feel so sad, because i don't know how i can pay my bills, or feed my 4 kids for the next 2 months

Unfortunately the microsoft scammers have been active for over a year. Do not answer the phone or give control of your computer. No pun intended. However a group of Indians claiming they work for Microsoft. Do not,do not allow control they will add a virus. Plz fo be as nieve as myself. Thank goodness i hung up the phone.
