How do I report SCAM to Microsoft?

You gave them access!?

Not good. Not good at all.

First, cancel the credit card if they got that far.

Report the number to the authorities.

Change the password of every account you use online from another computer. YOU CANNOT TRUST YOUR CURRENT COMPUTER RIGHT NOW.

Install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware free version and reboot into Safe Mode with networking. Do a full scan with MalwareBytes. Continue to scan until nothing comes up.

No need to report to Microsoft (they can't do anything about it). Report it to the Police instead.

There does not appear to be any way to stop the Microsoft scam calls. I have been receiving them for over six or seven years. The first time, I hung up on the caller from "Windows", who was not even aware that this was a Microsoft product, five times and the idiot called back nine more times on the same day.

I have been on the "Do Not Call Registry" since its inception and all this service seems to accomplish is to increase the number of scam calls I receive.

The fake Microsoft callers are becoming much more sophisticated but I cannot believe that anyone falls for their ridiculous calls.

If ANYONE has any idea how to make these calls stop, I would truly appreciate some advice. The latest one, which began yesterday, is a recorded message telling me that my Microsoft License has expired and that it is "URGENT" that I contact Microsoft immediately. Yesterday, the recorded message did not leave me a number to call. Today's recorded message stated I "must immediately call" 1-800-716-5818 to ensure that my internet access would not be terminated.

Does anyone have a clue as to how to make these calls stop? If so, please post the information on this site as these people are driving me nuts!!! 

Thank you for reading my rant, which actually made me feel a little bit better just by sharing with others who are obviously dealing with these same jerks!

The previous text is from me and I apologize to everyone who has been sucked in by these idiots for my comment about falling for their scams.

I also find it extremely offensive that Microsoft does absolutely NOTHING to support their customers in getting these scammers to STOP!!! Shame on them. One would think that they would have some concern as to what their customers are having to deal with simply by virtue of being a Microsoft customer.

   I want to report a phonecall/scam I received - this one last night - supposedly from Microsoft.  I want these crooks nailed to the wall.  I can't figure out how to contact a human in the Microsoft empire to give the specifics I gleaned from my caller.  Hopefully, a Microsoft personage will email me back as this is not my 1st scam by phone (my CELL PHONE!) or by EMAIL from India trying to get me to follow her 7 steps to clearing my laptop of a bunch of "vicious viruses".  I got her name, phone number, web address, etc. 

Please, Microsoft person,contact me so I can turn  my notes over to you to follow up protecting your name & our safety as best as possible and "contend removed: please don't cures  thank you"

On March 3, 2016 I had blue screen of death come on my computer, said that it was from Microsoft but it was a scam. They had control of our computer for over 2 1/2 hours, they never found anything wrong with our computer cause there was nothing wrong. They got $249.99 of our hard earn money and would like to get it back, if there is anyway possible. These people need to be STOPPED.
