Nokia Lumia 610 - can't connect to wifi

Pls. help. I can't connect to my wifi at home. all of us using other phones can connect but my lumia can't. upon checking my router settings, there is no problem, and also i consulted my internet provider about that. i can connect to other wifi,but never at home., what seems to be the problem? i am very disappointed about it. i just bought my phone about 3 days ago and i can't enjoy it.

    Have now changed my router from the belkin to the one supplied by internet provider and bingo phone now connects every time and stays connected........RESULT

    My lumia 610 drops the WiFi when the screen goes to sleep. Or at least it won't update Facebook chat etc over WiFi. I have the latest software but it doesn't help.

     Please use the search function though as your question may have been asked, and answered, before. That way you will have your answer straight away.

    The Wi-Fi connection on Windows Phone devices will disconnect when the lockscreen becomes active if the device is not connected to a charger. At that time the Lumia will switch to the cellular data connection when available. In Marketplace you may find an app which will keep the Wi-Fi connection alive when not connected. Please be aware though that keeping an idle Wi-Fi connection alive will use more energy.

    Same problem here, but it seems solved.

    The lumia 610 not reconnected to wifi after a while. Only rebooting the router reconnect again.

    The solution (and do not ask me why) was changing the wifi router configuration. Within wireless advanced settings: Beacon Interval: 5000. DTIM Interval: 200.

    And that's it.

    Tweaking the configuration of the router and the Lumia 610 have come to the conclusion that the best configuration is Beacon Interval: 5000 DTIM Interval: 1.
