In your phone, please, go to Menu » Settings » WiFi.
1. An icon with the signal strength appears: Do you have at least two bars?
2. Does is say ‘connected’?
- If you tap on your network, more information is shown like your IP address. Is there a DNS address?
If you can answer yes to all of these three question, we should move over to your WiFi router.
- In the past, if you add a new device to your network, were you forced to add a MAC address?
- Are you using automatic channel selection including channel 12 and 13? I would go for a fixed channel between 1 and 11.
If the answer is no, I would restart the router by plugging it out of the power outlet.
Did that help?
If you are able to connect, however, you have problems after a certain amount of time:
That could be an issue with WPA-Rekeying. Set that to 0 (turn off) or a very long time frame.
That could be an issue with the DHCP Lease period. Set that to a very small time period and check wether you see this issue sooner. Then set it to a very long time period. On the long term, change your router.
That could be an issue with the various power-save modes of WiFi. In that case, I would try another WiFi access-point because many have bugs here.
Did that help? Playing around with the beacon interval might influence these three causes.

My lumia 610 drops the WiFi when the screen goes to sleep. Or at least it won't update Facebook chat etc over WiFi.
Settings » WiFi » Advanced » Keep WiFi on, when screen times out. If you do not have that option, you do not have the latest OS version. Please, try to update. Did that help?
