Nokia Lumia 610 - can't connect to wifi

Pls. help. I can't connect to my wifi at home. all of us using other phones can connect but my lumia can't. upon checking my router settings, there is no problem, and also i consulted my internet provider about that. i can connect to other wifi,but never at home., what seems to be the problem? i am very disappointed about it. i just bought my phone about 3 days ago and i can't enjoy it.

    Hey,

    The same problem, and turning the password/security off isn't helping, the message is the same - can not connect. Though no problems with public wifi networks- maybe 610 is not meant for domestic usage?

    Hi Guys,

    There shouldn't be a problem connecting your Lumia devices to your home WiFi network.

    Have you tried resetting your router? Also if possible try testing your phone with another WiFi router and see how the connection is like i.e if it works and is stable.

    Also try removing any security password you may have on your router and connect to it unsecured and see if it helps. The reason why I want you to try this is to eliminate whether if it is the phone or the router itself or maybe the WPA/WPA2 key maybe affecting it.

    I have lumia 610, but in general I can connect to home wifi (bsnl connection). But sometimes suddenly the mobile will get disconnected from wifi (i.e. I'm not able to browse) even when I can access wifi on my laptop. The mobile remains in "disconnected state" for 2-3 hours or so.

    @Nokia engineers, is this a software or hardware problem ? Should I ask for handset replacement ?

    i too have same problem...I just purchased nokia lumia 710 i am not able to connect to wifi network .every time i try to connect it says unsuccessful
