Hi all,

great news! We just started to roll out our next update for Symbian called Nokia Belle Refresh for Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia X7 and Nokia Oro with version number 111.040.1511 (Nokia E6, version number 111.140.0058, will follow still this week, Nokia 500 updates will follow shortly).

This update again brings new features to Symbian smartphones, for example:

-          a new browser with HTML5 web apps support, a new set of homescreen widgets, and the previously released Microsoft Office Mobile App and Nokia Maps Suite 2.0 in one package.

-          Nokia N8 will have some extra apps for imaging

The update will be rolled out in phases, starting with the vanilla versions (ie. basic software variants without any specific operator or country configuration). Country and operator variants will follow within the next weeks, depending on local and operator approvals.

pS: Just like after updating from Nokia Anna to Nokia Belle, some apps may not work due to compatibility issues. If you need more information on available apps, please contact your local Nokia Care support. Furthermore, you can also contact the respective App developer to enquire about the compatibility.

Best regards,

Yvonne from Nokia Care

    Hi,

I have installed the Belle Refresh and since then my phone (Nokia N8) has become sluggish, hangs frequently, need to restart, sometime not even able to accept a call.

    What could be the reason?

    Hi all

For all who have FULL C MEMORY here is temporarily solution

I had the same problem before I update to Belle Refresh

Then I found that there is a folder in drive C

    The folder's name cpix (C:\cpix)

You can't find it by Nokia File Manager

I use ActiveFile app to control hidden system files

You can use X-plore or any similar app

cpix saves files from my memory card system folder (F:\system\data)I put there some private files there (Images and Videos) because I don't want it to be shown in the Gallery

Then the cpix folder steal them and convert the image to a txt file

for example, the image's name (2012-08-30-262.jpg)

then in cpix folder that image's name will be (2012-08-30-262.jpg.txt)

    After that C become full

So I make cpix folder empty every week

my phone won't install the update ota. I see the update as 11mb under Software Update but it comes up with "processing" and then nothing. On Nokia suite the update size is about 400mb even though I've already updated my phone to belle from anna, and I'm afraid i can't afford to go that route (plus i fear i will lose more apps on my phone) What do i do?

I guess that 400mb is a full package including latest Nokia Maps, Microsoft Apps, Social etc. If you have some of these apps already installed(and I think you do), then Nokia Suite will just skip their installation and install only new things to your phone.

I had the same case and all went well, no any previously installed apps were lost during the update.

But I found this Refresh quite useless. Some new widgets and minor bug fixes.
