when I go and forward an email that I just recived that has photos in it it will not send the photos with the email...  A message comes up from Windows Live Mail...... one or more of the pictures in this message could not be found when you send these pictures will not be included. are you sure you want to send this message....this happens with all my emails that have been sent to me when I try to forward to others it will not send pictures with the forward email and I am using Windows Live Mail...

    I have the same problem w/WLM and forwarding emails with pictures. So good to find I'm not the only one. Alot of hours have been wasted looking for answers on different forums, only to find here that they don't exist. I long for the days of Outlook Express. My old computer died so I was forced to buy new with W7. I add my voice to the posts on the previous 6 pages of this forum thread and am astounded that MS hasn't fixed the problem...and even more so to learn that W8 is no better and the impetus is to get people to use Hotmail. I don't think the forum moderators have a clue...at least they don't act like it. How long has it been since this problem got escalated? It is a fundamental flaw in the MS corporate structure that software continues to be written for the convenience of the programmers rather than the consumer.

    WLM is certainly a step backward in programming.

    Thanks for your reply, Dave.

    I found a half-vast work-around: send the post as attachment. I call it half-vast because, unless my WLM chops aren't what they should be, there's no way to delete the headers that identify the original sender and I swear by the bcc: function of email. Always have. So if I've got a quick choice to make, the post doesn't get forwarded.

    As others have indicated - change to Thunderbird & the problem of having photos stripped out & ruining the message, will no longer occur.

    One of the simplest, clearest, and best explanations I have seen. Basically Windows Live Mail can not and will not do all those wonderful things that Outlook Express did so well. Such is life!

    Oh, well, into the fray!

    Just to up the ante, I'm the REAL old guy at 81!

    Same problem and on the advice of a good buddy in the PC repair field, "GO TO FIREFOX!"

    He claims that MS, (who we all dearly love, right?) has been taken over, or hi-jacked, by the "MORE PROFIT!" crowd, so they're really not too interested in your problems, especially if it steers you away from opening more websites that might make them money. Sounds like this whole country is going further down the rat-hole of greed!

    Anyway, have a Happy New Year, people, loved all the posts!.........Brian.
