I have been looking for the answer to this question for a long time. I do not believe that anyone has come up with an answer to the issue. I do know that it is from how the pictures where sent to you, not just microsoft life mail. It only started happening after the new release of microsoft live mail and the online microsoft outlook. Most messages from other hotmail account holders have no issues, but every message I have received from people with Iphones, Apples, or AIM seems to not get forwarded. I believe that some mail handlers prevent pics from being forwarded, because you are actually viewing pictures from their servers. I know that there has to be other reasons that caused this issue, but I am at a lost to those reasons. I do know that Microsoft has the ability to fix this if they wish to.

We are looking forward to hear from you as well. Have you done as I suggested in my post of July 4th ?
Can you give us an update? Yes we know that Microsoft is aware of the issue. And we know that a Forum Moderator escalated this issue to our Windows Live Teamon March 11,2012.

2014-08-01T11:00:20+00:00 Hi helpjean,
Plese understand that you are limited to sending 1,000 photos or 500 megabytes (MB) of files per month. If you have reached your limit, you need to wait until the following month. You can continue to send photos as an attachment.
In addtion, here are the file formats that Windows Live Mail supports:
- bmp
- dib
- gif
- jfif
- jpe
- jpeg
- jpg
- png
Thanks,
Windows Live Joseph B.
Should have used Spellcheck. Second, I have not sent anywhere near 1,000 photos or 500 megabytes a month, unless somehow Live Mail checks all my downloads from Mozilla Firefox (which I have had to start using because IR11 nearly took my terminal out with it's "big footprint", poor execution protocol, etc. In addition, to what? This answer seems to be answering something that someone else wrote and doesn't even answer them correctly in regard to the question they seemed to really be asking.

2014-08-01T10:30:08+00:00 And I also have to say "Nope". Further, a lot of the perks that MS promised when we went to Mail, Calendar, etc., are not working. My calendar notifications still get sent .5 hours before the actual event. That is after I have already started prepping and working on other things so I don't see the "notification" until I have either missed the event or I come home from it, having had a notification from my cell phone that is far superior and more accurate.
Windows MS is beginning to really go down the dumpster.

2014-08-01T10:25:45+00:00 In my current Windows Live Mail, which has been "reinstalled, repaired" and a series of "Clean Disk" has been applied to my PC, when I try to use "Import Photo Album", or try to "View Slide Show" sent to me, I end up having to save the photos one at a time to my disk where I can open them. Similarly, attachments do not open and please do not try to assume I believe you when you say "You have changed our protection for our sakes" ... Bull! I have a phone program that used to send me eMails with the message attached. Recently, those messages, along with any other attachments WILL NO LONGER OPEN unless I save them to a file on the PC and then open them from there.
I had assumed that MS was working cooperatively with us, but somehow, I am getting a distinct message that it is more "Do it our way ... no other way will be tolerated".
Thank You,
Paul-Wesley Bowen
