cannot forward emails with photos

I read this 4 plus year forum attempting to get an answer. I have had the same problem as everyone else. Microsoft don't care. Just waste an hour and it is clear. They are not going to fix the issue. I have windows 8.1 and all the updates.

Just do what I am doing. Going to Apple even though I consider them a cult. Though I have been a Microsoft user for well over 20 years, I can't take it any longer. Windows 8,8.1 and this current mail has caused me to totally give up on this entire unresponsive organization.

I use WLM version 2011 and have Windows 7. When I try to forward photos I get error message saying something like "One of more of the pictures can not be found do you want to send this message anyway?"

This has been such an annoying problem for so long, I sure hope SOMEDAY Microsoft can find a solution to this.

On my Vista computer is WLM 2011 and on my Windows 7 computer it is WLM 2012.

In Windows Live Mail, press Alt-F B to see which build you have. The latest versions are:

• Vista: v.2011, build 15.4.3555.0308
• Windows 7: v.2012, build 16.4.3528.0331

How do I get them up to 2013/2014 versions please to try to get rid of this photo problem?

This problem affects both versions, and there are no later ones.

I've failed get the download from Microsoft website as it is mixed in with Windows Essentials.

Windows Live Mail is part of Windows (Live) Essentials. You can specify which parts of the suite you want during the installation process.

Third party web sites offer WLM 2014 on its own but the ones I've come across include spam programs and nasties.

When I receive a perfectly good email with pictures or gif's embedded in the text and TRY TO      FORWARD IT, the forwarded email has all the pictures stripped out & put in a slide show.
