cannot forward emails with photos

I am probably not jumping in at the right place...but I agree with helpjean...when one asks a question ms goes the long way around the block to answer it.  This is a growing major problem and microsoft seems intent on losing whatever remnant of customers they have that are/were loyal.  I was helping a friend with this very problem this morning and then turned around and could not send one of my own emails with a picture (it happened to be a picture of Mr. O in an email which makes me wonder, is microsoft now so liberal that they have tried to take away freedom of speech in whatever way they can?  At any rate...now I have the same issue and my build of wlm 2011 is 15.4.3555.0308

So again, I am considering going to another mail carrier and be done with it all...any suggestions for a 63 year old non-IT person to be able to live a somewhat normal life?  I am like helpjean and ready to go nuts over it...

I am so happy to find this site and realize I am not nuts.  I have been trying to figure this out and am totally frustrated.  Like the others above, the pictures cannot be sent  - but sometimes they can be.  I can't figure out the difference and am hoping someone somewhere will.

I've had this problem for over a year and received the same wonderful results you have.  Too bad we can't go back to Outlook Express.

Hi Kathrina G. First I would like to thank you for your time and reply to my distress in Windows Live Mail 2011... I would like to tell you that I do not have any problems sending photos from my computer.. and to my surprise everyone gets my pictures that I send to them... Where I have the problem is .... in my email account where I use like I have said "Windows Live mail 2011" I am unable to "forward" a email that I have received from someone else that has photos in the body of the email that does not have an jpg attached to each photo... photo's only... Windows Live Mail 2011 will not send those photos that are in the body of the email that I received.... Now if you could look at that and see what you could do to help me I would be very happy....

Hi TDWolsey.... I am HelpJean... to my understanding I have windows 7.. and since I do have 7 now... I am no longer able to get Windows Mail it has to be Windows Live Mail... I do not use Outlook Express mail... I have my mail or internet throught SBC which is now AT&T or ATT and it goes through Yahoo then I have it loaded on WLM on my Desktop I hope that make sense... I do not have hotmail or use MSN... what I have learned when using Yahoo I can forward the emails to my friends with the pictures embeded as long as there are not a lot of photos looks like Yahoo has a setting on how many MB's can be sent through mail in picture size...funny thing is I can recieve them ok but ... if I send them out that is another story...in yahoo some can make it out and some don't go figure and I am unable to find someone to talk to about that problem haha...maybe someday I might... now if I want to do a screen shot of the pictures and save them to my computer and then send them out in a new email I can do that .. that way they will have a jpg file attached to the email ... or if I drag the email in question from the mail box to my desk top and make a new email and drag from my desk top back to the new email that will work but some will not recieve them as the ones who use Hotmail or MSN but some others will recieve them I was testing a while back and seeing what I could figure out and wow it got over my head and I got lost in it.. hey I thought not bad for a grandma haha I am not sure you will get this so if you do I hope you could understand what I said.. and I hope that we will get help.... have a good one Helpjean
