2012-12-16T23:07:24+00:00 Thanks for your reply, Dave.
I found a half-vast work-around: send the post as attachment. I call it half-vast because, unless my WLM chops aren't what they should be, there's no way to delete the headers that identify the original sender and I swear by the bcc: function of email. Always have. So if I've got a quick choice to make, the post doesn't get forwarded.

2012-12-16T21:54:50+00:00 I have the same problem w/WLM and forwarding emails with pictures. So good to find I'm not the only one. Alot of hours have been wasted looking for answers on different forums, only to find here that they don't exist. I long for the days of Outlook Express. My old computer died so I was forced to buy new with W7. I add my voice to the posts on the previous 6 pages of this forum thread and am astounded that MS hasn't fixed the problem...and even more so to learn that W8 is no better and the impetus is to get people to use Hotmail. I don't think the forum moderators have a clue...at least they don't act like it. How long has it been since this problem got escalated? It is a fundamental flaw in the MS corporate structure that software continues to be written for the convenience of the programmers rather than the consumer.
WLM is certainly a step backward in programming.

Is there no one from Microsoft with the grace or integrity to (1) cop to the fact that WLM is flawed, (2) a fix is on the way, or (3) my WLM is not configured properly with an accompanying tutorial?
Thank you in advance for your relevant comments, suggestions, or- dare I hope?- solutions to this vexing issue.

I feel cheated now I realise that it is WLMail 2012 itself that is at fault by Microsoft and that is apparent that Microsoft do not read these posts on the subject.
Or if they do read and are aware it looks as if the problem is ignored.

2012-12-15T23:55:01+00:00 This is a fault within Windows Live. I solved the problem by opening a Thunderbird account. If I want to forward something with photos I switch to Thunderbird. Both my email accounts download to Thunderbird. I did not sign up for their email, I just continued with my att and gmail accounts. Thank heaven for Goggle!
