Nokia Lumia 800 won't connect to Zune.

Everytime i connect my phone to my computer the Zune software starts up.

However, it comes up with an error message saying 'Can't connect your phone, disconnect it, restart it and retry it'

I have restarted my phone and retried it 5 times, i've restarted my laptop 5 times and it still won't connect!

"The solution is the date.

 I you change your date time to tomorrow it works. I think it is a problem with the leap year."

    do not get private options only libraries, homegroup,computer,custom, internet.

    so where do you go from there, i was advised to open a new admin account it works in there bu still damned anoying wish had never bought damned fone but been loyal to windows for over ten years

    Similar issue to the above: phone was connected OK on previous work lap-top with full admin rights. Laptop has been replaced recently with more restricted admin rights and they copied over my old user profile, files, folders, etc.

    Zune longer working on my new machine: wish I'd cleared out the Zune stuff from my original PC user profile now.

    Tried the MS fixit, certificate stuff, cleaning out the tmp directory, uninstall/reinstall several times, still no joy. My guess is that there's some registry stuff/system drivers/etc scattered around that's getting in the way.

    Any ideas?

    Only plus side is that it still all connects OK on my home PC, but dreading getting a new machine!

    Please restore your mobile with factory setting, sorry but you will loose your apps and have to start from the scratch... also uninstall and reinstall zune software... i prefer to create new mail id to start with new phone...

    I had Zune on an  xp pc  and my Nokia lumia 800 worked no problem. now I have a new Lenovo with  windows 8 and when I try an connect my phone to my pc  I get this message "CONNECTION ERROR", I uninstalled Zune and reinstalled it and still no joy, so at the moment I cannot connect my lumia to my pc, what a joke, this is a problem of fifteen years ago not in 2013, can someone come up with a fix please,
