Nokia Lumia 800 won't connect to Zune.

Everytime i connect my phone to my computer the Zune software starts up.

However, it comes up with an error message saying 'Can't connect your phone, disconnect it, restart it and retry it'

I have restarted my phone and retried it 5 times, i've restarted my laptop 5 times and it still won't connect!

"The solution is the date.

 I you change your date time to tomorrow it works. I think it is a problem with the leap year."

    Hi Alexq007,

    Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Zune?  On Mar 1, when we tried, we still couldn't make it work.  However, uninstalling and reinstalling does the job.  I hope you get through this.  Cuz without Zune, you are stuck :(

    For me, uninstalling and reinstalling Zune does NOT solve the problem (and I've tried without signing in, and signing in).

    Exactly, which Zune package have you guys installed?

    One called "ZuneSetupPkg.exe" and 100 MB in size, or another one called "ZunePackage.exe", and 270 MB in size?

    Also, do I need to do anything special on the phone? I have it set up to use Wifi, and not 3G.

    Mine is about 103MB.

    I suppose you have tried fixing the digital certificate?

    I don't think that is the 3G or WiFi issue.  Nothing special is required. to perform at the phone, best I know.

    After the whole rediculous 'leap year' fiasco, iv not had a problem connecting my Lumia to Zune :) Other than the nonsense of trying to get your own music as a ringtone, I LOVE the phone! :)
