The "more information" link on a driver update redirects to a different site.

Original title : Windows Update "More Information" link broken

Windows Update (in Windows 7 64-bit) notified me of a driver update. I clicked the "More Information" link, and was taken to a webpage at "winqual.microsoft.com". This told me that the site has moved to "sysdev.microsoft.com", and I could find no way to find more information about this driver update.

    I had this same problem this morning with the following drivers:

    Conexant - Audio - Conexant 20672 SmartAudio HD

    Intel - Other hardware - Intel(R) Active Management Technology - SOL

    This is a problem and it would be nice if Microsoft indicated if this was Microsoft's problem to solve or the developers of the driver updates. Either way, you would think one could talk to the other.

    Documenting all the drivers that this is still happening with:

    1. AuthenTec Driver Update for TouchChip Fingerprint Coprocessor (rel: 05/31/2013)
    2. Intel Corporation - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1 (rel: 02/28/2013)
    3. Lenovo - Other hardware - Lenovo PM Device (rel: 07/03/2013)
    4. Synaptics - Other hardware, Pointing Drawing - ThinkPad UltraNav Pointing Device (05/09/2013)

    Late July and still no meaningful reply from Microsoft :(

    http://winqual.microsoft.com now seems to be timing out completely.

    Hope we will have a helpful response sooner rather than later!

    This is NOT APPLICABLE, since the problem is on the end of the links supplied with updates themselves. Please READ the problem before you give useless information.

    Also, this non-helpful behaviour is getting severely annoying.

    6 month later - still no solution...

    This is REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

    This is one of the reasons MS is loosing it's position and more and more developers and users are moving away
