The "more information" link on a driver update redirects to a different site.

I had this same problem this morning with the following drivers:

Conexant - Audio - Conexant 20672 SmartAudio HD

Intel - Other hardware - Intel(R) Active Management Technology - SOL

This is a problem and it would be nice if Microsoft indicated if this was Microsoft's problem to solve or the developers of the driver updates. Either way, you would think one could talk to the other.

Documenting all the drivers that this is still happening with:

1. AuthenTec Driver Update for TouchChip Fingerprint Coprocessor (rel: 05/31/2013)
2. Intel Corporation - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1 (rel: 02/28/2013)
3. Lenovo - Other hardware - Lenovo PM Device (rel: 07/03/2013)
4. Synaptics - Other hardware, Pointing Drawing - ThinkPad UltraNav Pointing Device (05/09/2013)

In the year 3912, Microsoft announced that Window 879 will have the fix for automatically redirecting users who click on the 'More Information' link on their Windows Update app.  Windows failed at creating a redirection for their app, but they were successful in purchasing the domain name.  Microsoft expects the fix to be active in less than 10 years.  In the meantime check the official Microsoft Technical Bulletin number 9x4j003, which may be found by clicking the 'more information' link on your windows updater app.

Well, it's now the end of June 2912 and still no useful answer. "Is there anybody there? Anybody at all?" Mayhaps Microsoft is so fixated on Windows 8 that….
