I have a Gateway ZX6971 all in one touch screen. I recently downloaded the windows 8 release preview and i cant find anyway to get my touch screen capabilities working again. Is there a way to fix this problem? I tried reintalling the Card Reader Driver and try to open some touch programs in capability mode. Is there anything I can do to do my touch screen back? It worked fine in Windows 7. Any help or advice would be great! Thank you!

This issue may be a display driver issue. I checked Gateway's website for available drivers for the ZX6971 and there are no Windows 8 drivers. Use the contact us link here to see when or if drivers will be available to support Windows 8 on your computer.
I just went to Gateway"s website and downloaded the touchscreen driver and now my touchscreen works

The driver is now available on Gateway's support site. I installed it today and it works great.
This problem needs to be fixed!! Here I am with a new gateway that BestBuy sold me and got me pumped up about the touchscreen with Windows 8 and this thing does not work!. Please update the Driver Gateway..... I guess it is a wait and see thing now.
