Windows XP Computer Overall Slow, Freezing & Locking Up.

My Mom's Windows XP Computer is overall slow, freezing & locking up mostly all the time. I don't have the money right now to pay for Premium Support through Microsoft to get it fixed. Can anybody please help me get this issue resolved immediately! It's been like this for a while. I just want my mom's computer to run normally like any other computer would. Please! Let me know. I appreciate it. Thanks.

    Either one will work fine. The cheaper one is probably adequate. Then again, the other one is twice the capacity and only ten bucks more. Your call.

    You would keep the old RAM stick in the motherboard and simply add the new one.
