My Mom's Windows XP Computer is overall slow, freezing & locking up mostly all the time. I don't have the money right now to pay for Premium Support through Microsoft to get it fixed. Can anybody please help me get this issue resolved immediately! It's been like this for a while. I just want my mom's computer to run normally like any other computer would. Please! Let me know. I appreciate it. Thanks.

Getting the extra RAM should help. But there is no guarantee.
Also do you have a broadband connection? If so, is it DSL or cable?
