I appreciate your efforts towards resolving the issue.

I would suggest you to try following steps and check if it helps.

a. Press Windows + X keys and click command prompt(admin).

b. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.

bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS & bcdedit /set testsigning on

c. Close command prompt.

Turn off the check.

Hold the shift key while clicking on Restart

Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart

After Restart select option 7.

    This worked for me in installing a Plustek OpticBook 3600 Plus driver in Windows 8.1, but only after I found the following article, which gave me sufficient detail to follow the steps exactly:

    Is there another way to restart so as to allow unsigned drivers to be installed?

    (The admin-command line steps of a previous post did not work for me.)
