I appreciate your efforts towards resolving the issue.

I would suggest you to try following steps and check if it helps.

a. Press Windows + X keys and click command prompt(admin).

b. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.

bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS & bcdedit /set testsigning on

c. Close command prompt.

Turn off the check.

Hold the shift key while clicking on Restart

Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart

After Restart select option 7.

    I'm trying to install synaptics driver for touchpad on windows technical preview and it is saying that I cannot because the driver is not signed. So, i tried the solution above and got this message: An error has occurred setting the element data. The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted. Please advise.

    I also ran into this problem at first. There is a secure boot setting in the BIOS. Depending on your system manufacturer, it may or may not be an obvious, easy to find setting. It's usually under the Security or Boot tab or maybe even an Authentication tab. Turning the setting off will allow you to change the value. Be careful when modifying the BIOS. If you don't know exactly what a setting is, don't touch it.

    As Nick mentioned, you may disable secure boot in BIOS and then try the commands again. It is also suggested in my response on December 28, 2014.

    Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.
