Reinstall the app maybe it will work rofl.
Has anybody tried any diagnosis? E.g. try to use an alternate messaging program with the same account? Apparently we can even use IE from Hotmail. Even better would be using Windows Live Messenger because it has a built-in Troubleshooter. FWIW I think
that without doing some diagnosis, reinstalling the apps might just be giving time to let coincidence work its repair magic.

Yes, I've diagnosed it to see if the problem was the software or the service. Everything points to the software (Mail, Messaging, People app). That said, it's only happened one more time to me, and resolved when someone messaged me. Reinstalling doesn't seem
to make a difference significantly enough to warrant setting up your mail again, etc... Hopefully, they will get to the bottom of this for the next update. It does, however, seem to be much better now. I also run Skype, so that doesn't seem to be a conclusive
factor. It's just one of "those" fun IT problems that is tough to nail down.
