I have been a loyal Zune/XBOX customer for years and now looking to replace my 8gb Zune that I've had for 4 or 5 years and cannot find a Zune HD anywhere. Since it's been discontinued Amazon has jacked up the price of a new one. I honestly think that Zune is far superior to Ipod in the MP3 department. Now I'm gonna be forced to buy an Ipod Touch. I kinda feel betrayed by Microsoft.

I believe the answer can be summed up with in the first sentence of the press release, "...going forward, Windows Phone will be the focus of our mobile music and video strategy, and that we will no longer be producing Zune players". We appreciate and share your feelings regarding the Zune device, however we have decided to move forward with a new strategy and we hope that we will be able to get you back on board soon.

Sounds like some bullcrap to me. What if people dont want a iphone rip-off.I want the simplicity and freedom of the Zune . Screw Apple's $$$ you must by exclusively Microsoft or Apple...Apple wants $$$ money for every little app and music+videos...Sounds like a monopoly 2 me...
Is this why there is no longer a cust service 800 # to call for help? I hate not being able to talk to a live person & get referred to the forums for answers. The facebook page sucks too - almost like no one is even monitoring comments.

My husband bought me a Zune 2 years ago. I LOVE IT! However in the last few months I have been having trouble with it. then Zune decided to change it's subscription options. I currently have the unlimited downloads for $16 a month with 10 credits to download songs to keep 'forever'. I love/loved the product so much I paid more for my husband to have one (because they are discontinued and amazon jacked up the price on them). Now it doesn't allow us to link his Zune to my account, I can't change my billing information from one card to another and I'm still having problems with my Zune. All this wouldn't be so bad if Microsoft had an actual live person to speak with. Reading support assistance is great until it doesn't help the problem. Anybody want to give me some feedback on all my many problems? I too feel like I am forced to go with an iPod. I'm not a Windows lover (because I hated my Windows phone) but LOVE LOVE LOVE my Zune....I just want it to work :(...
