IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen

i just got 2 blue screens again... they just pop up every time i play 3D Games :\

But i just updated my Video Drivers :S

and these codes don't help me at all

i also checked the dump files with BS View

red are: portcls.sys, p17.sys, ntkrnlpa.exe, halmacpi.dll,

and on the other dump: ntkrnlpa.exe, win32k.sys

even got a dump with: dxgmms1.sys but that was before installing new video drivers, didn't get that one since :\ also cdd.dll

i hope anyone can help me

the PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50) is caused by the AVG driver:

Hmm, after changeing the slot of the soundcard on my mainboard it seems like the bluescreen caused by my soundcard driers disapeared (till now)

also the DX bluescreen didn't come back, but i don't know what could have caused this one now:

Hi,

The main BIOS you need to concern yourself with is from the System Maker or Motherboard

maker so you need to check their sites by your model information and also contact their

support as some do not make BIOS updates public. Check in their forums (if any).

Some video cards have a BIOS that can be flashed though that would come from the device

maker's sites.

Already happend - the onboard soundcard stopped to work - so i had to deactivate it in the bios a while ago and deinstall the drivers.

I got a SB Live! 24-Bit now from Creative and also got the latest drivers "SB24_PCDRV_LB_1_04_0090" - wich are the newest for this model

i even looked up the modelnumber on my card "SB0410" so that shouldn't be the problem.

But quick update: I moved the soundcard up by 1 slot and cleaned it from dust and other stuff that could have caused to problems ( looked like smth glueish was on it - i rubbed it off carefully ) maybe that made short time overload or a short, idk i will test it now on the 2nd PCI bench and keep you updated.

and a BIOS update shouldn't help me too much if you check this link:

I got the version number F7, there's only F8 and F9 - both don't have updates that would help me in any way and F10 is Beta nty.

Also i never heared an PC analytic program telling me to update my Video BIOS o_O - are there even any Grafic card manufacturer that have Video BIOS updates available? never heared of that.

Hi,

BIOS updates come from the System Maker or MotherBoard Maker for custom systems.

Make sure you update the Sound drivers at the same time from System Maker pr MotherBoard

Maker's site. There may be updated drivers available from the Sound Device Maker's Site.

You can disable the on-board sound in the BIOS and use an add-in Sound card or a USB sound

card. (If the sound card is an issue.)
