I have Windows Phone 7 (HTC HD), recently I experience problems with syncing my gmail and hotmail accounts (recieving error code: 80072EFD) and Facebook (recieving error code: 83CF0108) when using mobile internet. More over I can't open gmail.com in a browser as well. When I use Wi-Fi everything is ok. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi gedzius,

When you are using wifi everything is fine, right?

Please verify that on your Windows Phone, all configuration is okay:

  • Settings -> Mobile Network -> Data Connection is on "On"
  • Settings -> Mobile Network -> 3G connection is on "On"

Thanks, Tristan

Same thing happened on my LG phone. Finally resolved it yesterday with these steps:

    1. Turn off "data connection" unders settings-cellular
    2. Turn on WiFi and connect to a WiFi network
    3. Do whatever it was that you could not under 3G. In my case, sync'd my Office365 email and downloaded an app from the Marketplace.
    4. Turn off the phone, remove battery.
    5. Reinstall battery, turn on phone.
    6. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
    7. Tun the cellular "data connection" back on.

So far, everything is working as it should over both 3G and WiFi.

    Hope this works for others!

Haha, I like how these things get closed before they are resolved.  I was able to fix this issue by connecting to WiFi and then disconnecting.  Everything worked from there on forward.
