Hi,
Even though my phone is configures and connects to my router for internet connection - I cannot configure wireless sync as I get the following error "C00D07C9"?
I have tried the FAQ but still nothing.
Please help.

Good call with this article! I too had the same error with my Samsung Focus but I figured out that for some reason my route was not able to identify a device name, only the MAC address. (possibly a bug in WP7) Apparently Zune does not like this because as soon as I used a static IP address for my phone's MAC address and gave it the name of my phone as recognized by Zune, it worked!

Are you still receiving the same error message?
Have you tried to configure the device manually?
There’re some important recommendations that you must be aware:
Make sure that the access point or the router to which you connect is a DHCP server (make sure that DHCP is turned on).
Try to reserve an IP address for the Zune device on the router.
If you are using two routers, make sure that the router to which you try to connect is the DHCP server.

Well one question answered, it's the DGND3300 that has DHCP reservation broken in the latest firmware (this router is brand new so came with the latest firmware pre-installed). :-(
There is some really useful information in this topic, shame it's not easy to find and a shame that Microsoft haven't created a proper KB article to provide the same information. It has helped me solve my problem of wireless sync only working between my wireless laptop and my Omnia 7 but not to a wired pc (which is the one I want to use).
It seems my Netgear DGND3300v2 is incompatible for wireless sync unless both devices are connected wirelessly. The DHCP lease shows the phone as UNKNOWN and when I try and assign a static IP the phone is forced onto a different one (seems the router isn't recognising the phones MAC address as it assigns a different IP address and not the static IP).
The WP7 device I have is the Samsung Omnia 7 and given these devices troubled update history it might be the phone at fault. This could be a bug in the phone or the router but given that it used to work with my WAG160N it would indicate it's the Netgear at fault. Guess I'm stuck with wired sync until something gets fixed. I'll try and raise it with Netgear and see where I get to.
