Hi,
Even though my phone is configures and connects to my router for internet connection - I cannot configure wireless sync as I get the following error "C00D07C9"?
I have tried the FAQ but still nothing.
Please help.

Good call with this article! I too had the same error with my Samsung Focus but I figured out that for some reason my route was not able to identify a device name, only the MAC address. (possibly a bug in WP7) Apparently Zune does not like this because as soon as I used a static IP address for my phone's MAC address and gave it the name of my phone as recognized by Zune, it worked!

Are you still receiving the same error message?
Have you tried to configure the device manually?
There’re some important recommendations that you must be aware:
Make sure that the access point or the router to which you connect is a DHCP server (make sure that DHCP is turned on).
Try to reserve an IP address for the Zune device on the router.
If you are using two routers, make sure that the router to which you try to connect is the DHCP server.

Ok, for everyone having problems with this, the major thing preventing you from setting up wireless syncing in Zune is probably the phone's name! Apparently, there is some kind of "issue with names containing special characters (i.e. apostrophes, dashes, etc.) and/or spaces".
So, in Zune, rename your phone to something safe (eg. "MyLumia") then restart the procedure from scratch. There's a good chance it'll work this time...
Soon enough, you'll never want to use that USB cable again :)
Yes, I call BS on the wireless router explanation, too.
My wife and I bought HTC Trophy phones at the same time.
Wireless sync on my phone worked. Wireless sync on my wife's phone worked. Both use the same wireless access point.
But then, about 15 months later...
Wireless sync (but not WiFi Internet) on my phone stopped working. Wireless sync on my wife's phone still works to this day. Both still use the same wireless access point.
I have had 2 occasions where, out of the blue, Zune woke up on my PC while my phone was charging and tried to sync wirelessly, but failed. Even that hasn't happened in a few months, though.
The problem is either my phone, or my computer, and someday I'll try setting up sync for my phone and her computer, and/or her phone and my computer, to isolate the cause. Uninstall/reinstall Zune & the phone drivers on my computer didn't help.
But the evidence conclusively proves it absolutely, positively, CAN NOT BE my wireless access point.
Very frustrating. For me, Zune is the "killer feature" of my Windows Phone and it's orders of magnitude better when wireless sync can change up the songs stored on the phone at every charge so I don't hear the same music over and over until I connect it to my computer. (Yes, a first-world problem to be sure.)
