Hi,
Even though my phone is configures and connects to my router for internet connection - I cannot configure wireless sync as I get the following error "C00D07C9"?
I have tried the FAQ but still nothing.
Please help.

Good call with this article! I too had the same error with my Samsung Focus but I figured out that for some reason my route was not able to identify a device name, only the MAC address. (possibly a bug in WP7) Apparently Zune does not like this because as soon as I used a static IP address for my phone's MAC address and gave it the name of my phone as recognized by Zune, it worked!

Are you still receiving the same error message?
Have you tried to configure the device manually?
There’re some important recommendations that you must be aware:
Make sure that the access point or the router to which you connect is a DHCP server (make sure that DHCP is turned on).
Try to reserve an IP address for the Zune device on the router.
If you are using two routers, make sure that the router to which you try to connect is the DHCP server.

Thanks, Red, but I tried that when it was posted elsewhere and it made no difference.
And in my case, wireless sync worked correctly for months ("Jeff's Phone"), then stopped working, while my wife's identical WP7.5 phone still works to this day. Her phone is named "Paula's Phone".
Realize, too, that if there truly IS a bug involving phone names with apostrophes and spaces in them, it would affect nearly EVERYONE. Phones are named "FirstName[apostrophe]s[space]Phone" by default, automagically, the first time Zune launches with the phone connected by USB, and I'd be real surprised if most didn't just accept the default.
If there is such a bug--and there's not enough data here to know whether or not there is--it is therefore limited to a VERY small subset of the WP7 population. Worth mentioning, certainly, but not a cure-all.
Ok, for everyone having problems with this, the major thing preventing you from setting up wireless syncing in Zune is probably the phone's name! Apparently, there is some kind of "issue with names containing special characters (i.e. apostrophes, dashes, etc.) and/or spaces".
So, in Zune, rename your phone to something safe (eg. "MyLumia") then restart the procedure from scratch. There's a good chance it'll work this time...
Soon enough, you'll never want to use that USB cable again :)
