KB2538242 visual c++ redistributable update on june 2011 keeps trying to install

During the june 2011 update, i have already downloaded the KB 2538242 visual c++ redistributable update but after restart, I still keep on having the same update when I checked. I downloaded it the second time around then restarted then checked for updates again, it is still there. Is this necessary? Why do I keep on getting the update? Do I need to download a lot of KB2538242 update? or is there something wrong with my system? or is it a form of virus?

    Sorry, I gave you the wrong name, it is "Windows Installer Clean Up Application" and on trying to get the address for it I find that it has been discontinued.  (Of coarse, it's easy to use and understand.)  I f you search  "Windows Installer Clean Up Application" on the Microsoft Search site, which is accessible through  Administrator options as well, just search Microsoft.com (a drop down from the download window) , not downloads, and it gives you several options.   I can't speak for them as I have not used them.

    On Microsoft update page select Administrator options, then, Search the Microsoft download center, type in "Patch Registration Cleanup Tool".   (KB976220)   Pick out the download that fits your machine and you should be able to remove what you need too,after you install the tool.

     Hope this helps.

    When I try to install this, it says that I'm incompatible with two of them and the other pops up a black box stating that a "productcode must be specified" and tells me to press any key to exit.  That's it.  Help?
