What is the BEST Registry Cleaner for Win 7 Ultimate or Pro 64 Bit version OS ?
When I search the internet with that same Question ,, i get hundreds of links and every company says it has the 100% BEST Registry Cleaner software and i bet 99% are liars !!
Microsoft really needs to TEST all Registry cleaners & make a list of the Top 5 BEST software for many different uses and post that list so your Customers can know what is the Best to use to Fix their PC problems .
Please !! be Nice and help your Customers who have bought and use your Microsoft software .. OK ??

I'd rather use regedit, back up the registry before working and use regedit's search function to find the relevant keys. I can use my head about what I remove and err on the side of caution. Much better than hoping some automated program doesn't decide an essential key isn't needed.

Solution to the problem you think you need it to resolve. Create a system restore point before attempting installation. Simple!
Well I think you are pretty moronic for a) running install files from the internet in the first place - if it's that large and you have a history of power cuts then DOWNLOAD THE INSTALLER before running it and
b) giving your son access to your computer if you can't trust him.

I can't count on my own two hands the number of times a registry cleaner has saved my bacon. Lets say I go to install something. Something happens during install (internet cuts out for example) and the process is terminated mid-way. I now receive errors when I attempt to continue installation and can't uninstall. will I go into regedit and spend days combing through the keys to *hopefully* find the entry I need to delete?

My stepson decides he wants to use my machine when I'm out. He installs some questionable software which attempts to make a registry entry without his knowledge.

personally I use netgate, but to each their own.
