Help to bring my icons back on the screen.

I need to bring my icons back up on my wallpaper screen. Don't know how I hid them. Can't seem to bring them back up on the screen. What do I do?

You may have accidentally hidden the icons.

To unhide desktop icons:

  1. Right-click on the desktop and open the "Arrange Icons By" sub-menu.
  2. In the sub-menu, click "Show Desktop Icons" to uncheck it.

    Hi

     What  worked for me was when I took my laptop to work and plugged into a different monitor.

    It opened up with the setting "Duplicate these displays" when I selected "Extend these displays" bingo icons back on the laptop.

    If this doesn't work for you then another way is to manually select the icons on the attached monitor and drag them across to the Laptop.
