I need to bring my icons back up on my wallpaper screen. Don't know how I hid them. Can't seem to bring them back up on the screen. What do I do?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Somehow or other, after I madly clicked everything, my desk top mysteriously reappeared. I wish I knew what worked, but decided —for fear of losing it again—not to look this gift horse in the mouth!
