How do I find all the empty folders and delete them.

My music has a bunch of folders that are empty but it will take forever to look at every single one.  I want to search by size or someway that will make it easier to find and delete

Hello !

If you do want to delete all the empty folders only ! go to Computer and at the top right click on search. Click on kind and Select folder, now click again on search and click on size, select 0 and click on search.

This should list all the empty folders

    It should - but as is often the case with Windows, it doesn't necessarily work.

    I have a large number of folders in a presets folder. I know that many - but not all - are empty so I used the method you outlined above. Windowscame back with cannot find any - even though there are several dozen of them.

    that method doesn't work so well because there are often hidden and system files such as Thumbs.db and desktop.ini that make an apparently empty folder not really empty

    Why Microsoft did't resolve this simple cese from years???

    Adroid, Chrome book, iOS are just waiting to take over the PC market. The winner will be anyone who takes better care of ordinary users and the convenience of their work.

    Since Windows currently will not do it, you can install a program from the internet and run it.

    Remove Empty Directories
