How to:
I too have this issue. I have Windows 7 and am trying to keep the computer from sleeping. I've changed the settings in Power Options/Put the computer to sleep to "never", Power Options/Turn off the Display to "never" and under the Advanced Power Options/Hard Disk/Turn Hard Disk Off After to "never". Computer still sleeps, what a headache when you need it to run for a long time.
Unfortunately this setting goes away when I reboot.
I have done this and have my setting set at an hour of inactivity before sleep, but it still goes to sleep after 2 minutes of inactivity. If I am writing and take time to think of how I want to say something, it goes to sleep.
Never had this problem with Windows 8.1, but I just upgraded to Windows 10 Tuesday and it started. It is VERY annoying.
