I have been unsuccessful with any answers I have seen. I have Windows 8 (which I hate) and when I click on start, I get all the tiles on my desktop and not one for control panel. Neither is there a search box. I used to have control panel on my desk top, which was put there by a support technician as I am clueless when it comes to computers, but I installed Windows 8.1, decided I hated it even more than 8, so I uninstalled it and went back to 8 and everything about my PC has been messed up since. Any more ideas?
Get a Mac :-p
but, seriously, I use a very tiny program when I use windows, it's called "don't sleep"
