I have changed every setting I can find, Plugged in and battery, setting everything to never or 10000 minutes, and my computer with windows 10 still goes to sleep after 5 minutes, drives me buggy, I want to take my hammer to it!!!!
mine is a fairly new desktop pc. I have changed the power settings to never sleep. does not help. still goes to sleep after about 10-15 minutes very difficult to download updates when it stops working.
I may have found my solution. In checking through my iolo System Mechanic settings, I found that the "Power Saver" option had somehow gotten turned on. When I turned it off, I found that the display and machine didn't kick into sleep after 90 seconds.
If anyone is using an add-on system maintenance utility, check its power settings. They seem to override those in Win10's native array of utilities.
