how do I get rid of a split e-mail screen and back to a full e-mail screen to read mail?

How do I restore screen back to a full screen to read my e-mails??  It is now a screen split in half!  Also when sending an outgoing e-mail it notifies me "error, pop 3"   & tells me e-mails "not sent."    What does that mean????   Please help!!??

    I selected **ellipsis....**and the pop up did not give me a choice to UNSUBSCRIBE

    To the right of archive and delete I have the menu with ... the only thing to the right of that is the "x" above and to the right. Thanks anyway.

    I forget how I solved my split screen problem, (this happened 3 months ago) but its ok now.
